Jean Tarry

Jean has worked in a variety of Educational establishments for over 30 years. For 25 of these years she has been actively involved in Leadership, Management and School Improvement projects. As a former Head teacher of a school in an area of social disadvantage, Jean has never equated deprivation with low standards of behaviour and academic results.

She has directly taught all different age ranges from Nursery to Sixth form and she also has experience of teaching adults in subjects such as ESOL. She has a particular passion for the teaching of Mathematics and ICT, having gained considerable experience of raising standards in these important areas.

Jean is currently working as an Independent Consultant with schools in the North West and in the Isle of Man. As a recently trained OFSTED Section 5 Inspector, she is well placed to advise on School Self Evaluation. This is currently very well received in schools, nurseries and colleges.

Anne Sadler

Anne has over 25 years of experience of working in Primary Schools. One of the youngest Heads in the North West on appointment, she held the role of Deputy Head teacher for 3 years before moving on to take up the Headship of a very successful school for over 12 years.

Anne currently works both as an Independent Consultant, advising schools throughout the North West on issues from Amalgamation. She also works as a School Inspector, has now taken part in a large number of Inspections of Primary and Infant Schools and is also trained to inspect Secondary schools and colleges of FE.

As the Head of a school where the numbers rose from 214 to 440 during her Headship, Anne feels that one of her major strengths lies within the area of School Marketing. As a consequence, she has helped a number of schools in this way. She also leads training on RaiseonLine and the SEF and helps staff at all levels with job applications, interview techniques etc.

The greatest compliment to Anne to date is that she is "normal". This wonderful accolade came from staff at a Crewe school with whom she worked. It is a tribute to her approachable nature and down to earth and practical advice.
